Wightlink’s Ryde Pier Head is hosting a festive market this weekend with stalls selling unique gifts including jewellery, candles and local fudge, made by creative Islanders.
All stallholder fees have been donated to Mountbatten and hospice volunteers are also on the Pier raising money for the charity.
Retail Operations Manager Sam Stevens says:
“Saturday was busy with FastCat passengers and other visitors and we’re hoping even more people will drop by today.
"We’ll have Christmas music from Ben Rue and his Crystals Disco to get everyone in the festive mood,”
The Mermaid Gin bar will be open, featuring warming mulled wine, and Wightlink’s range of hot drinks and refreshments will be on sale.
The festival market will be open from 10am to 4pm over the weekend of December 21 and 22.
