Children became stuck between rocks at Priory Bay, prompting a call-out for coastguard teams this afternoon (Tuesday).
Bembridge Coastguard was tasked alongside Ventnor Coastguard at around 1.13pm.
The two children were helped to safety, and passed into the care of their parents.
Posting on Twitter, Bembridge Coastguard said:
"They did exactly the right thing by calling 999 and asking for the coastguard."
