There have been 21 new cases of coronavirus recorded on the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Tuesday).
According to the latest data, there have been 1,153 registered on the Island since the start of the pandemic.
As previously reported yesterday (Monday) there were an additional 24 cases recorded.
But the UK has recorded 36,804 new daily cases of COVID-19 and a further 691 deaths following a positive test.
Meanwhile, a deal to unblock travel with France following a shutdown over the new coronavirus variant could come later today.
According to Sky News, the solution would involve rapid turnaround lateral flow tests being conducted on lorry drivers with the help of the military.
