A member of the Brighstone Primary School community has tested positive for COVID-19.
Headteacher, Rebecca Lennon, confirmed that the school has rigorously followed the advice of Public Health England, accessed through the Department for Education official advice service.
The bubble of Reception/Years 1/2 - and associated members of staff - will be self-isolating, with a return to school date of Monday November 30.
The school remains open for all other students.
Rebecca Lennon said::
“I want to reassure parents, pupils and staff that we have stringently followed public health guidelines.
"It is important that we continue to provide high quality education to all of our pupils and those that are asked to self-isolate will continue to receive their education remotely.”
