A further death linked to coronavirus has been recorded in a care home on the Isle of Wight.
It takes the total number of fatalities, related to the illness, in care homes here to 43.
In total, 86 Islanders have passed away with COVID-19.
According to the Office for National Statistics, three deaths have happened at home, with one recorded at Mountbatten Hospice.
The data shows deaths that occurred up July 31st, but not registered until August 8th.
The number of people to have died in hospital with the illness remains at 39, figures from NHS England show.
Yesterday (Monday), Isle of Wight Radio reported a rise in coronavirus cases here.
425 cases have now been recorded here since the start of the pandemic.
