Coronavirus: Isle Of Wight's Rolling Rate Now Fourth Highest In UK

The Isle of Wight's rolling average coronavirus rate is now the fourth highest in the UK.

Another 235 cases have been recorded today (Friday), taking the total - since the start of the pandemic - to 5,005.

There have now been 3,326 COVID-19 cases recorded on the Isle of Wight this month (January).

In total, 134 people have now died on the Isle of Wight after testing positive for the illness. No deaths have been recorded in today's NHS England figures, however.

The Isle of Wight's seven-day infection rate, per 100,000, has risen to 1,167.4 - the fourth highest in the UK.
