A member of Nine Acres Primary has tested positive for coronavirus, the school has confirmed.
The school says "a small number of children" are self-isolating.
Parents have received letters informing them that their child must stay at home for 10 days.
The school, based in Newport, remains open for vulnerable children and those of key workers.
