A crash which closed Downend Road this afternoon (Monday) has left a motorcyclist in hospital with a suspected ankle injury.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
"We were called at 12.40pm today to a single vehicle road traffic collision on Downend Road.
"The incident involved a motorcycle and the male rider was taken to hospital with a suspected ankle injury."
The road has been temporarily closed while emergency services attend.
