The body of a 17-year-old boy was found at an address in Ryde yesterday (Saturday).
Police received the initial call to St Johns Hill shortly after 10am, with the teenager pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
“We were called at 10.14am today (29 October) to an address in St Johns Hill, Ryde, following a report that the body of a 17-year-old boy had been found.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff.
"His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
"His death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
