Two infant T-Rexes have escaped from their park enclosure and have been officially declared missing! Have you seen them?
Footage of both dinosaurs, Shadow and Sheila, crashing their way through the doors has been released this morning (Saturday) with a warning from Park Manager, Dominic Wray.
He said:
“We regret to inform the public that two of our infant T-Rexes have escaped Blackgang Chine and are loose on the Isle of Wight. While Shadow and Sheila are predominantly tame, they are still young with very large teeth; and at approximately 15 feet in length, are capable of causing injury without intent. If you spot either of them, please contact us immediately and do not attempt to engage.”
Blackgang Chine have deployed a number of specialist dino handler teams, that are scouring the Island for Shadow and Sheila’s whereabouts.
These individuals will be staying vigilant throughout the day and night until both dinosaurs are found and safely transported home.
Mr Wray ladded:
“In the event that you find yourself in close proximity to either Shadow or Sheila, please remain calm and don’t attempt to run away. Running may be interpreted as ‘play’ by the dinos so we recommend making loud clicking noises with either your mouth or fingers
instead, which will instruct them to back away.”
If you believe that you have seen either Shadow or Sheila, please contact Blackgang Chine and call us here at Isle of Wight Radio with details of when and where you saw them.
