"Don't join today's queue for COVID booster jabs in East Cowes" is the message from an Isle of Wight councillor.
It comes as queues to get into East Cowes Fire Station stretch along York Avenue.
Cllr Karl Love has said all 200 doses of the jab available today (Thursday) are now spoken for.
He said vaccination tickets were gone within 15 minutes.
"It’s quite disappointing that in the community with 8,000 residents only 200 doses of the vaccine are available.
"Especially when I’ve seen people coming in taxis and waiting in the queues on wheelchairs.
"I am aware that people will have planned to come down later in the day and be expecting to be able to walk in when the reality is they will not be able to do so because all the available tickets for vaccination have now been used."
Islanders are being told NOT to join queues for COVID-19 jabs in East Cowes. All of the spaces for today's vaccinations are full, according to Cllr Karl Love.
