A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences after a 'proactive stop' was carried out by officers in Shanklin this morning (Saturday).
A Vauxhall Corsa was pulled over by police on Palmerstone Road - after it was spotted 'driving erratically'.
Police say the driver, a 49-year-old man from Shanklin tested positive for driving under the influence of drugs.
Officers say white powder, money and a set of scales were seized.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and being concerned in the supply of class a drugs.
He remains in custody.
