A woman has been summoned to court for 'driving without insurance and using a hand held device' after a car ended up on its side in East Cowes.
As first reported by Isle of Wight Radio, police were called to Adelaide Grove at around 12.57pm.
A car overturned.
The road was closed by officers for a time.
No serious injuries have been reported.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
"The driver of a Peugeot 3008, a 27-year-old woman, was reported for summons for driving without insurance and using a hand held device at the wheel."
