An eight-year-old boy suffered 'minor injuries' after being hit by a van in Cowes yesterday (Thursday).
Hampshire Constabulary says the incident happened on Baring Road, outside Gurnard Primary School.
Police were called at 2.55pm. The collision involved a Ford Transit
A police spokesperson said:
"An 8-year-old child suffered minor injuries in the collision.
"He was assessed by the ambulance service and discharged at the scene."
