An electrical incident has caused the closure of a busy road between Sandown and Brading this morning (Saturday).
An 'unplanned power outage' has seen six postcode areas affected in the Morton Road area.
The issue, which has led to the road being closed to traffic, was first reported at 9.10am, with Scottish and Southern Electricity (SSEN) engineers on site and aiming to have the it resolved by midday.
Southern Vectis say their Route 2 and 3 buses will be following a diversion route until further notice, which may cause some delays.
