The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, along with police and paramedics are attending a house fire in Ryde this morning (Thursday).
The Fire and Rescue service told Isle of Wight Radio that it was called to the scene at 6.44am.
Two appliances from Ryde, two from Newport, and one from Sandown are all in attendance, with approximately 25 firefighters on scene.
Crews are using two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
It was initially feared that there were persons trapped in the home, but the Fire Service said that all people - including an adult female, two children, and the family dog - have been accounted for and were evacuated from the building by a neighbor.

Swanmore Road is currently closed to traffic, with cordons in place.
