Emergency services have been called to Arreton this afternoon (Tuesday) following a two-vehicle crash.
Southern Vectis reports that the crash — which occurred at the junction of Downend Road — has seen the road blocked.
Route 8 buses will also be unable to serve Arreton, Robin Hill, Long Lane and Pan Estate as a result.

Route 8 buses are therefore currently unable to serve Arreton, Robin Hill, Long Lane or Pan Estate.

Police and ambulance crews are in attendance currently, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
We have contacted the emergency services for further details.
UPDATE 4pm:
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was a police vehicle, the other a Mazda MX5.
Two officers and the driver of the Mazda all reported minor injuries, with an investigation now underway.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
"At around 2.16pm today (Tuesday) a police vehicle under blue light conditions was involved in a collision with a Mazda MX5.
"This happened on Arreton Road.
"Two officers and the driver of the other vehicle reported minor injuries.
"An investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances of the collision."
