A new emergency vet service is set to launch on the Isle of Wight in January.
The Isle of Wight Emergency Vet will be available to Islanders and clients of Pet Doctors and Medina Veterinary Group.
Operating from within Pet Doctors Veterinary Hospital on Bishops Way in Newport, Isle of Wight Emergency Vet is set to be available all day, every day - providing 24/7 supervised hospitalisation and critical care at night, weekends and bank holidays.
Dan Bates, Regional Director from CVS (UK) Limited, a company which owns over 480 veterinary practices in the UK, Netherlands and Republic of Ireland said:
“We are delighted to provide an unrivalled out of hours, pet emergency service on the Isle of Wight. Should an emergency occur, our vet and nurse team will be there at a time when pet owners need us most.”
He continued:
“In addition to the out of hour’s service, we have invested heavily into the latest diagnostic equipment including a CT system to ensure we have the best equipment and facilities available both day and night.”
