Employees from a Cowes-based firm have come together to do a litter pick along the town's shoreline.
In a bid to reduce waste, on Friday, 11 employees from Yokogawa Marex came together to do the cleanup.
The team fashioned organic T-shirts supplied by Teemill and collected an entire bin bag of rubbish in just a couple of hours - which was recycled.
Locals said they were impressed with the team’s efforts and expressed their gratitude for the seafront clean-up.
Earlier in the day, three employees also got up early for a litter pick along their local beach at Totland.
Divisional Director Wayne Matthews said:
“Staff did a brilliant job, giving up some of their own time to help clean up litter from the beach, providing a safer and more
pleasant environment for everyone to enjoy.”
