Firefighters have been called to a property in Freshwater this afternoon (Monday).
At least four appliances, from Ryde, Newport and Freshwater, are at the incident.
It's said to have happened on Guyers Road.
A spokesperson for the fire service said smoke could be seen issuing from the rear of a ground floor property.
The fire has since been put out.
Crews are working to check that the fire hasn't spread to adjoining properties.
