Firefighters were called to the Red Funnel ferry terminal in Southampton in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Crews from Hightown, St Mary's and Redbridge attended the vehicle ferry terminal on Town Quay, just after 2am.
A fire broke out on the ground floor of the building, near where passengers embark and disembark the ferry.
Breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet were used, followed by PPV (Positive Pressure Ventilation), according to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
No injuries have been reported.
