Firefighters have tackled a blaze at the site of the former Grand Hotel in Sandown.
Appliances from Newport, Sandown, Ryde and Shanklin were all called to the blaze at around 4pm.
It’s understood a fire broke out in outbuildings at the site, which has remained derelict for a number of years.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the building along Yaverland seafront.
Culver Parade was shut while firefighters worked to put the fire out, although it has since reopened.
The fire has since been extinguished.
