After yet another fault was found, the floating bridge remains out of service this morning (Tuesday).
The troubled vessel was pulled from operation last Thursday (26).
On Friday (29), the Isle of Wight Council revealed a fault with the vessel's drive motor was to blame.
It was subsequently withdrawn for the entire Bank Holiday weekend, and remains off today (Tuesday).
A foot passenger replacement service is in operation in its place.
We're expecting an update from the council.
