Four men have been arrested following a serious assault at a popular holiday park in Shanklin last week.
Police were called to the incident at Lower Hyde Holiday Resort on Thursday, as previously reported.
A man in his 30s was assaulted by a group of men and suffered serious injuries.
As part of the investigation, four men have been arrested, according to police.
They are:
- A 23-year-old man from Shanklin arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed until 26 November.
- A 23-year-old man from Shanklin arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been bailed until 28 November.
- A 24-year-old man from Shanklin arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been bailed until 29 November.
- A 28-year-old man from Lake arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody at this time.
