Dinosaur Isle's annual fun day returns tomorrow (Sunday), with free activities and new exhibits.
Since its last open day in 2020, five new species of dinosaur have been recognised within the museum's collection and are now displayed alongside its already impressive exhibit.
The day will also involve model painting, face painting, competitions, arts and crafts as well as lots of other heritage organisations displaying and leading exciting activities.
This includes Brading Roman Villa, Isle of Wight Metal Detecting Club, Isle of Wight Natural History and Archaeological Society, the Isle of Wight Heritage Service and Arc Consulting.
The Isle of Wight Bus Museum will also bring along a vintage bus on the day.
There will be a focus on the importance of the Island in the Creative Biosphere Project with The Island Collection and learn the significance of conservation with displays from The Wildheart Trust.
Cllr Jonathan Bacon, Cabinet member with responsibility for museums, said:
"With 20 different groups and activity providers, it’s sure to be a fun day.
"Events like this help to ensure our children and young people are aware of our unique Island heritage."
The event takes place at Dinosaur Isle on Sandown's Culver Parade, between 10am and 4pm (last admission 3pm) on Sunday February 26.
