Freshwater Skatepark Planning Permission Granted

Freshwater thrill seekers are celebrating after the town received planning long-anticipated planning permission for its skatepark.

This marks a significant milestone for the community and brings them one step closer to providing a proposed new facility and community space for people of all ages.

A spokesperson for Freshwater Skatepark said:

"We would like to express a heartfelt thankyou to everyone involved.

"This accomplishment would not have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of numerous individuals and organisations.

"We extend our deepest gratitude. Your voices and support have been instrumental in bringing this project to life."

With planning permission secured, the next goal is to raise the necessary funds to make the Freshwater Skatepark a reality.

To that end, a GoFundMe page has been set up which is available to donate to.

 The spokesperson continued:

"We are looking for businesses and individuals who are interested in supporting the skatepark through sponsorship.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to invest in our community and leave a lasting legacy.

"Your support is vital to the success of this project. Together, we can create a state-of-the-art skatepark that will serve as a hub for recreation, creativity, and community spirit."
