Police are investigating after a woman was threatened with violence in Freshwater this afternoon (Friday).
A man fled the scene following a public order incident on Garden Way.
Hampshire Constabulary says it was called just before 2pm.
A 38-year-old, Freshwater, was subject to threats of violence, according to police.
Officers attended and the suspect had left the scene prior to their arrival.
