A yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Isle of Wight today (Tuesday.)
It follows inclement weather throughout the early hours of this morning.
While many areas will miss them, thunderstorms are likely to develop during Tuesday afternoon and into the early evening.
The Met Office warning is in place from 11am until 6pm today.

There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
