Expect to see gritters on the island's roads tonight (Saturday 6) as temperatures are expected to dip as low as -3 degrees celsius!
According to the Isle of Wight Met Service, central and southern parts of the island could see the lowest temperatures overnight.
Other parts of the island should prepare for sub-zero temperatures too, dipping down to an average of between zero and minus two degrees celsius.
A widespread frost is to be expected across the island, with the warmest low of one degree set for the north of the island.
The IW Met Service said:
"A dry night ahead with clear spells and just the occasional area of cloud moving through. It will be very cold with a widespread sharp frost across the island.
"Temperature 0c to -2c widely with a few central and southern parts of the island seeing -3c although closer to 1c on windward coasts in the far north. Please check our frost alert maps for more specific detail.
"Wind NNE 6-12mph becoming 3-9mph"
