Gunwharf Quays Indoor Entertainment To Reopen On Monday

Islanders heading over to Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays will be able to use the venue's indoor entertainment from Monday (17).

Additional measures will be in place to help keep guests COVID safe.

On Monday (17), the following restaurants and leisure activities will be open to the public again:

  • Brasserie Blanc
  • Grosvenor Casinos
  • Hollywood Bowl
  • Loch Fyne
  • The Parade Tea Rooms
  • Vue Cinema

Vue cinema will be showing new films such as Peter Rabbit 2 and Godzilla vs. Kong, alongside fan-favourites like Grease and The Lord of the Rings.

With the remaining restaurants opening at the centre, diners will be able to enjoy seasonal seafood at Loch Fyne, or fine French dining at Brasserie Blanc. Guests will be able to support a local Portsmouth business, The Parade Team Rooms, located at the Vernon Gate entrance.

The full roster of Gunwharf Quays’ restaurants and bars will be able to offer both outdoor and indoor dining.

Hollywood Bowl and Grosvenor Casinos are both great places to meet up safely with friends or family to enjoy fun activities together, whilst being shielded from the unpredictable British weather.

Yvonne Clay, Centre Director, Gunwharf Quays said:

“The entire team here at Gunwharf Quays is looking forward to welcoming our remaining brand partners and guests back.

"We know how much people have missed grabbing a bite to eat with friends and family indoors over the last few months, or zoning out and watching a film, and we’re confident that we can deliver an exceptional experience at the centre whilst ensuring the health and safety of everyone who visits is our number one priority, as it has been throughout this crisis.”

Guests will also be able to enjoy extended shopping hours from May 20, to make the most of the easing lockdown restrictions. From Monday-Friday the outlet will stay open until 8pm, and on Bank Holiday Monday (31), the outlet will be open from 9am-8pm.
