Heavy rain and strong winds are causing travel problems on the Isle of Wight today (Sunday).
A Met Office Yellow Weather Warning is in place until 3pm this afternoon.
Strong winds have led to Hovertravel services and the Red Jet to be suspended.
Red Jet suspended until further notice due to adverse weather. A further update will be provided at 12:00. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey

Due to high winds across the Solent, customers may be delayed by up to 90 minutes on our Portsmouth-Fishbourne service today. We will update you with further details as soon as we can.

There also delays of around 90 minutes on Wightlink’s Portsmouth to Fishbourne route.
Surface water is also lying on many of the Island’s roads, with flooding reported in Brading, Beaper Shute and Ryde.
