Hovertravel is offering visitors the opportunity to see how it has developed facilities to provide greater accessibility.
A free to attend event on Thursday (May 5) will see guests provided with a guided tour of the terminal and hovercraft, along with the opportunity to meet staff, crew and pilots.
Recent specific additions to the HoverCare facilities include the construction of a Changing Places toilet in both terminals and additional accessible toilet in each.
Hovertravel is encouraging visitors to bring their friends and family along as part of the 'try before you fly' initiative, to try out the hovercraft access and learn about their HoverCare services.
Neil Chapman, managing director at Hovertravel, adds:
“This is an opportunity for guests to share their experiences with our staff so we can enhance our services, ensuring we are helping people travel more easily.
“We recognise our HoverCare services should be constantly evolving and events such as this allow us to better understand the needs of all customers as we encourage visitors to ask whatever questions they wish.
"Our Try Before You Fly events are open to anyone whom might want to chat to us about accessibility.”
The event will take place on Thursday May 5 in Ryde from 10am to 11am and Southsea from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
Those who are interested should register online before attending.
