Hovertravel says its Island Flyer has returned ahead of schedule and will be in service from this afternoon (Friday).
It means extra services will be able to operate during peak times on the Ryde-Southsea service.
Hovertravel Duty Managers, Scott, Terri and Ryan, said:
"Our engineering team at Ryde and the team at Griffon Hoverwork worked around the clock to exceed all expectations and turned a two-week absence into just three days.
"As well thanking them for their exceptional efforts, we must also thank the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) for their welcome assistance and prompt action.
"Now, with a second craft, we have the flexibility to add extra flights and increase our departures up to every 15 minutes to match demand, so we would ask that you check online for the latest availability.
"We would also like to thank our customers for their loyalty and understanding; your support is always more than generous and all of us at Hovertravel are grateful."
