The RNLI Branch for Seaview, Nettlestone & St Helens will be holding its inaugural Art Fair, hosted by the Sea View Yacht Club, later this month.
The centrepiece of the spring event will be the silent auction of works of art donated by local artists, with all proceeds going to the lifesaving charity.
Island Fine Arts gallery will be presenting the works of a number of renowned artists, including Ken Howard and James and Jo Bemis.
In addition to the exhibition of artists' work, the event will host local caricature artist Adam Brown, a children's art activity corner, and face painting.
Food and drink are available from the club's bar and restaurant and all attendees will be invited to toast the artists to thank them all for their contributions.
Among the lots for auction will be water colour paintings with a marine, beach or coastal focus; acrylics and oil paintings with similar themes.
In addition, guests will also see aerial photographs of Seaview and other villages, special edition posters of the Mermaids class keelboats based in the town, and images of a locally moored dinghy on its morning at sunset.
Sea View Yacht Club provides the backdrop for this event and will be open to the public to browse and enjoy the fair.
A spokesperson for the event said:
"Even if visitors don't win their favourite piece at the auction, there are opportunities to commission or order their own boat photographed, or have a painting commissioned with one of the amazing artists in attendance.
"Come and help us raise the money the lifeboats need to keep us all safe."
The event takes place at Sea View Yacht Club on Saturday, April 15, from 11am to 4pm.
