Three people in an inflatable dingy prompted a call-out for coastguard teams this afternoon (Wednesday).
Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat was called to the beach off Shanklin just after 2pm.
Ventnor Coastguard also attended the incident after the individuals 'got into difficulty'.
'Words of advice' were said to be given to those involved.
