A 42-year-old man was arrested in Ryde this morning (Thursday) as part of an investigation into a non-recent sex offence.
Officers attended the address in Ryde just before 9am.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed:
"A 42-year-old man from Ryde was arrested at the address and remains in custody at this time."
