The Isle of Wight custody centre was called the busiest in Hampshire on Saturday (5), as islanders enjoyed the freedoms of tier one.
According Isle of Wight Police, officers were up late last night dealing with drunken disorder in Newport and Ryde, Covid breaches, domestic assault and drunken people who had no idea where they live.
Several arrests were made, including two males from Portsmouth who were involved in a fight in the town centre.
On Facebook, an officer wrote:
"As I write this our custody centre is currently the busiest in Hampshire as we have individuals in for public order, Covid breaches, breaches of various court orders and domestic assault."
Police have asked islanders to be responsible when enjoying the freedoms of tier one.
