Island Line is encouraging Islanders to submit their photos of journeys aboard its trains, as it prepares to say farewell to them ahead of a £26 million upgrade.
With the railway set to close for three months to allow for upgrade work and the introduction of new stock to the line, the operator hopes to share memories and experiences of the current Class 483's - which have had a service life of over 80 years - to those who are unable to witness their last service in person online.
😢We know government restrictions mean you can't travel to see the final Class 483 in service this weekend
