There are no trains at the moment this morning (Sunday, October 4) on the Island Line between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.
According to South West Trains, the 8.5-mile route isn't operating along its entire length.
Disruption is expected throughout the entire day today.
The operator says there's been a further train fault, in addition to another, earlier, problem with the rolling stock.
Alternative and replacement transport operations are being researched by the train company this morning.
A spokesperson for South West Trains said the operator was "very sorry" for any delays today.
