The Isle of Wight could experience a mini heatwave this weekend and into next week.
Temperatures could reach 30.c in some parts of the Island by Tuesday next week (15).
The Isle of Wight Met Service said:
"As we move into the weekend and the first part of next week the weather looks like turning very warm and sunny with temperatures in the high 20s, possibly even reaching 30.c in one or two spots!
"Saturday looks like a warm day with light winds although we may see some coastal fog at times.
Temperatures are expected to reach the low 20s Celsius.
"Sunday will see the temperatures starting to rise under mostly sunny skies. The winds will be light and it will feel very warm for the time of year with temperatures in the mid 20s.
"Monday will be another warm day, in fact probably even reaching the “hot” category with temperatures in the high 20s, although we may start to see a little more in the way of cloud cover.
"Tuesday is when we could possibly see some kind of breakdown developing although it is highly uncertain at the moment, but the latest charts suggest another very warm or hot day with temperatures in the high 20s, potentially even seeing 30.c in one or two spots."
