The Isle of Wight Distillery has today (Wednesday) announced an exciting three-year partnership with Prometheus Sailing.
The move sees the producers of high quality and hand-crafted spirits such as Mermaid Gin join forces with one of the UK’s leading yacht charter companies based along the South Coast of England.
The Isle of Wight Distillery is also confirmed as the sponsor for The Sail to Reward Regatta, a new event bringing teams together from the hotel and hospitality sector.
As part of the ongoing three-year partnership with B Corp certified Isle of Wight Distillery, Prometheus Sailing have renamed one of their one-design Jeanneau 410 charter yachts Mermaid Spirit, which will fly a new spinnaker with the Mermaid branding.
Mermaid Spirit kicked off its summer yacht racing campaign last month competing in the annual Drinks Trade Regatta (May 20).

Xavier Baker, co-founder of Isle of Wight Distillery, said:
“We are honoured to be partnering with Prometheus Sailing and to have a boat that carries the Mermaid name is a fantastic accolade.
"As well as introducing those who charter boats with Prometheus Sailing to our spirit collection.
"We also hope to educate them on how best to protect the waters around the South Coast and minimise waste and harm to plant and marine life.”
