Isle Of Wight Donkey Sanctuary Welcomes 12 New Animals To Its Herd

The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary has welcomed 12 new animals into its care.

Having introduced the public to new recruits Paddy and Murphy recently, they have now added Lavender, Evie, Amberley, Buster, Jack, Jill, Gabby, Lenny, Desmond and Treacle to the ever expanding herd.

A spokesperson for the IW Donkey Sanctuary said:

"They're all gradually starting to show us their gorgeous personalities.

"Some of them love people - we think they are going to be popular with our visitors.

"Thank you to everyone who supports us. Your visits help us continue to provide the highest standards of care.

"We can’t wait for you to meet our newest arrivals and see the positive impact your support makes."

From 1 April to 30 September 2025, the Sanctuary will be open seven days a week, from 10am to 4.30pm.
