The Isle of Wight Festival is 'good to go' after the Government confirmed the lifting of coronavirus restrictions later this month.
Mandatory mask wearing and social distancing will be scrapped from July 19, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said.
Speaking at a Downing Street press briefing, Mr Johnson outlined his five step plan to move away from legal restrictions.
From July 19, legal limits on those meeting indoors and outdoors will be removed - with no capacity on outdoor events.
Responding to a tweet from @peterwhite_1 asking if the festival is good to go now, John Giddings said:
"What do you think ? You heard the same broadcast that I did! Here we come Isle of Wight Festival 2021!"
