Isle Of Wight Festival Wins Prestigious National Accolade

The Isle of Wight Festival has secured a prestigious accolade at the Festival Awards 2024.

The Island's music extravaganza has been named 'Best Large Festival'.

The annual event, based at Newport's Seaclose Park, was headlined by Greenday, Pet Shop Boys and The Prodigy in 2024.

The UK Festival Awards are awarded annually, with various categories for all aspects of festivals that have taken place in the UK, and one category for European festivals.

The Awards were first established in 2004.

The Isle of Wight Festival has also been shortlisted for a prestigious accolade at at the Live Awards 2024, as it aims for back-to-back award success.

It is this time in the running for 'Major Festival of the Year' at the LIVE Awards, which will take place at legendary east London venue Troxy.

The winners will be decided by an anonymous panel of judges, and announced at the awards on the evening of Wednesday 11 December.

Other festivals in the running for the award are Victorious, Latitude, Kendal Calling and Reading & Leeds Festival.
