The Isle of Wight has recorded a further 156 cases of coronavirus today (Thursday).
It takes the Island's total - since the pandemic started - to 3,193.
According to the Government data, the first seven days of January have seen 1,514 positive test results on the Island.
Today's figures are down on yesterday (Wednesday), when 254 cases were registered.
In 24 hours, the Isle of Wight's case rate has again jumped - this time from 809.8 per 100,000 to 921.9 per 100,000.
As 2020 drew to a close, Sandown and Brading had the highest levels of coronavirus on the Island.
Figures show there have been a total of 116 coronavirus-related deaths on the Isle of Wight, since the start of the pandemic.
