Isle of Wight Scouts are on the lookout for the best BIG, hand-made poppy this Remembrance Sunday.
Young Islanders are not only being asked to join in with the two minutes silence at 11am today (Sunday), but are also being urged to make a poppy.
You can use any materials you have at home to make your BIG poppy - then display it in your window and take a photo of you next to it.
You can submit it for judging in a number of ways:
- Post it to the County Facebook Page
- Email it to [email protected]
- Tag the scouts in on Facebook using @isleofwightscouts @officialpoppylegion
- Tag the scouts in on Twitter at @iwscouts @PoppyLegion
The Royal British Legion will be helping to judge your poppy making skills and prizes will be on offer for the best ones.
Judging will take place on Wednesday, Armistice Day.
