The Isle of Wight’s white-tailed eagles are set to appear on BBC’s Autumnwatch this week.
Presenter Chris Packham will be catching up with the Island’s white-tailed sea eagle population on BBC Two, this Thursday (29).
Earlier this year, a further seven white-tailed eagles were released on the Island, as previously reported.
The five-year reintroduction project is being led by Forestry England and the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation - with aims to restore the rare bird population, after a 240-year absence.
Last month, two of the eagles returned after a short holiday in Scotland.
The show will air on BBC 2, at 8pm on Thursday.
