Two young Isle of Wight videographers have been nominated for a prestigious MOBO award.
Jack Millward and Tom Kral hail from Ryde — collectively known as Double or Nothing Productions — have been nominated for directing, filming and editing the video for rapper Headie One's Can't Be Us.
The MOBO Awards are an annual British music institution honouring achievement in music of black origin.
Jack explained the journey the pair have taken:
“In 2019, after leaving education and keen to figure out the next stage of our lives, we entered a short film competition (held in Ventnor).
"To our surprise, we won and it kicked us into gear, and we started to take filmmaking seriously, investing the prize money into a new camera.
"From there, we took any work we could get, working with friends and local businesses to build our portfolio, slowly but steadily growing our brand, improving our skills and upgrading our kit."
The pair are no strangers to accolades, having won the Picture the Music film competition in 2019.
The collaborative award created by Ventnor Exchange, Film Society and Ventnor Arts Club aims to encourage young Islanders interested in film to develop their ideas and skills.
A public vote will decide the destination of the award, so you can help Jack and Tom to win — voting closes on November 28.
