A performing arts student from the Isle of Wight is to showcase her talent on ITV’s The Voice UK tonight (Saturday).
Millie, who goes to Theatretrain in Cowes, is singing in front of celebrity judges Tom Jones, Olly Murs, Anne-Marie and Will.I.Am.
Her appearance on the hit show follows “a super successful” audition on Zoom, which saw her get through to the next round of the singing competition.
Posting on Facebook, Theatretrain said it’s been a “hard secret to keep”.
The performing arts group said:
“Millie started Isle of Wight Theatretrain at the age of 7 and has been singing with TT vocal coach, Hannah Caudle, since she was 8 and continues to do so!! She's worked so so hard from such a young age to get where she is now and we couldn't be more proud!
“After a super successful audition that we held on zoom, it was clear Millie was in for an amazing few months with The Voice UK... and, now that the world is about to see her talent, we know this is just the start of an amazing career she has ahead of her!
“Millie, we are so so proud of you and can't wait to see what the future has in store for you!”
Millie’s episode airs tonight at 8pm on ITV.
