The Island's only wrestling promotion has announced its next major event next month.
Outcast Pro Wrestling's biggest annual show — Island Warfare 5 — will head to the Wootton Bridge Community Centre on the evening of Saturday February 4.
Dubbed 'Island-Rumble' by fans, matches include triple title-holder Jackson Arrow taking on 'Straight Edge Samoan' Eddie Kenway.
This bout will take place for both the Outcast Pro Wrestling and CWP Heavyweight Championships.
Fan favourites Rudi Root, Luna Trix and Rusty Jack team up for one night only as The Root of All Rusty Trix to take on the formidable team of JJ Volare, Roger Sears and JC Cardy.
A grudge match will see Ryan Hendricks and Dirty Dave Dennis go head-to head, before the main event will pay homage to WWE's legendary Royal Rumble which takes place this weekend.
Like the Rumble, the Island Warfare match includes 30 participants, although in contrast to the global phenomenon, eliminations occur via pin-fall or submission rather than by throwing someone over the top rope.
The winner will be awarded the Isle of Wight Championship — currently held by The Virus Kane Michael.
Tickets for Outcast Pro Wrestling's Island Warfare event and details on how to train as a wrestler can be found online.
A spokesperson for the event said:
"This is an opportunity for wrestling fans on the Island to see some amazing wrestling action as part of our biggest annual show.
"if you've ever wanted to become a wrestler, we offer training sessions in Sandown and are also happy to meet new people with a passion for the squared circle."
